Maternity Styles That Won't Break The Bank
Hey Babes! Today, we're talking: Maternity Styles! Not just any maternity styles though, outfits you can wear pre-pregnancy, during and after baby! Oh, and did I mention every style from this brand is extremely affordable and great quality too? Yeah, pretty sure we've hit the #momstyle jackpot! However, I know, I can't forget about all of you who are sitting reading this going "but wait! I love this dress, but I'm not expecting!" Well, don't worry, each outfit I'm sharing comes in a non-maternity style as well!Thank goodness I found PinkBlush though! It's made styling outfits together, shopping and dressing myself fun again! I liveeee for putting together fun outfits and since I've pregnant has been HARD to do just that! If I find something cute (and it fits somewhat well) the price tag is INSANE and I know that if I don't want to spend that, no one else is going to want to spend that either! PinkBlush offers the trendiest styles, prices that I was used to pre-maternity days and everything fits amazing! PinkBlush keeps in mind a growing mother's figure where some other *expensive* places DO NOT. Sorry.....I'm not a size 2 with a small bump. My big booty is now bigger and my belly is growing like a sideways watermelon #LetsBeReal I need some giveeee, people!I've experienced the mental breakdowns in dressing rooms where nothing fits and I just don't enjoy something I have made a career out of. When I received all of my PinkBlush items in the mail and tried everything on, I was so thrilled when everything fit nicely! It gave me my confidence back! SO, let's jump right into today's style sesh with PinkBlush!
Style #1: Swing Dress
Price: $47
Fit: TTS
I'm wearing: A medium
Color and Material: True Navy, soft jersey/cotton material
Color Options: 1
I love this style dress! I think it would make for a great work dress, especially paired with loafers like I'm wearing above (on days heels just won't cut it) This dress is very lightweight and works great for the summertime, but will transition well with boots in the fall! I just ADORE the fun sleeve detail- who says a simple shift dress has to be "frumpy" while you're expecting!? You'll be styling around town in this fun little number! Go with your pre-pregnancy size- it's very flowy and has lots of room for your growing belly! Will definitely be able to wear this again postpartum too!
Style #2: Striped Pocket Dress
Price: $56
Fit: TTS- can be worn postpartum for sure
I'm wearing: A medium
Colors and Material: ivory and black/ soft and stretchy
Color options: 2
I am OBSESSED with this dress! This off the shoulder maxi is very well made, I love the pockets, the fit and the slits on the sides as well. You can wear this dress with flats out to breakfast OR amp it up with wedges, fun earrings/ jewelry for a night out! I really love that this dress isn't necessarily cut like most "maternity" dresses, but it fits the bump like a dream and I know I'll definitely be able to wear this one after the baby too!
Style #3 : Off The Shoulder Top
Price: On Sale! $33
Fit: Runs Big, Size down
I'm wearing: A Small
Colors and Material: Coral, sheer chiffon
Color Options: 2
Going on a tropical Babymoon? or just need a fun summer top!? This one is my JAM! I loveee! The colors in this top make me happy haha they're so bright, the ruffle sleeves are to die for and it looks super cute with white shorts or a cropped denim jean! This top is pretty sheer, but wearing nude sticky boobs or a tan/nude bandeau will be just fine underneath. I'm wearing nude sticky boobs underneath this top in the pics above and you definitely can't see it. ( I think the floral print hides everything.) If you're still unsure about the sheerness, a little white lacey bralette would look adorable! I love that this blouse, yet again will be wearable after baby! PS it comes in another gorgeous color as well!
Style #4: Racerback Maxi Dress
Price: $49
Fit: TTS, but size up if you're on the fence
I'm Wearing: A medium
Color and Material: periwinkle, soft stretchy cotton
Color Options: 6
I think that this racerback maxi dress is the most flattering on an expecting mother- it really enhances the bump without having to wear a body con dress. I love that the top of this dress is double lined so there is absolutely no sheerness, but the bottom half of the dress is very breathable for the summertime. Hello 100+ degrees lately. The pockets are a cute little feature too! I will say, this dress IS true to size, but if you're in between sizes or think your bump still has ALOT of growing to do, size up. I felt like it was a bit tight around the chest area (keep this in mind if you're larger chested) and it wasn't tight around my butt, but I would have liked if it was a little bit looser around that area. The color and cut of this dress is one of my favorites though, so I still wore it almost 3 days in a row after it came in the mail haha!
Hope you all enjoyed this post! I'm trying so hard to crank out some content for you all the last few months of my pregnancy! With the difficulty I've experienced in styling myself, the insane price tag that comes along with maternity wear and the lack of well, energy, It becomes quite difficult to succeed at your job when you are a style blogger! I really want to be a great resource for all of you mommas to be and continue to share fun fashion advice so I am going to try my hardest to keep trekking through!! Thank you all for your patience while I've been slacking a bit, you mean more to me than you know!!
Thank you to PinkBlush for sponsoring today's post. All opinions are my own.
