Home Tour: Part One
Hi Friends! I'm sharing Part 1 of the long awaited house tour! I'll be sharing the rest throughout the week and into next, but wanted to start with the downstairs main area of living! The upstairs, my office, the master, those will come soon, but I didn't want to overwhelm you with an excessively long post. Also, kind of laughing at how long it has taken me to get this post up.... I'm 9 months preggo in all of the photos haha! I'm going to try and link as much as possible, but If I don't I'll be sure to at least list where something is from if I can remember correctly. We made some changes to the kitchen as well so I'll try and add in the before and after photos in this post too. Alright, let's get started with the entry way...
Entry Way
This is our entry way, we recently put in a glass door which added tons of natural light and I loveee!
Candles and Lanterns: Potterybarn | Wall Art: Homegoods I believe | Side table: My dad built it a really really long time ago | Lamp: At Home | Baskets: Target
Powder Room
This is our powder room- right past the entry way near the living room. I love how cozy it is, we painted these walls a darker shade of grey than the main living areas and I love how it's kind of a statement. The floating shelves are from Home Depot and the toilet paper holder on top on the toilet is from Targe. The candles are from various places and the wall art that is hanging in the last picture was actually a picture Justin took that we had blown up into 3 canvases!
Kitchen
This kitchen is one of my favorite parts of the house! We actually re-did all of the countertops and had these slabs installed and made some changes to the island as well. We made it a bit bigger and had the edge waterfall to the ground. We changed out light fixtures, cabinet knobs and pulls, put in a new sink and faucet and added a wine fridge! It's definitely the perfect kitchen for entertaining family and friends! Having the wine fridge installed has been the best accessory to the kitchen- we always have chilled wine or champs waiting for our guests whenever they would like!!Wine fridge: Newair | Pendant lights: Wayfair (these are gold, I actually spray painted them silver) | Utensil holder: Kirklands | Lanterns: Pier 1
Dining Room
Here's our dining room- kind of wish we had a bigger table, but we're able to add chairs when we have more people over. We also changed out this light fixture- will link below. These containers I have in the middle of the table I found at homegoods for like $7-$12 !!! I was in shock I found them so cheap!
table and chairs: Zgallerie | Glass Jars: homegoods | jar fillers: hobby lobby | Table runner: Target | Light fixture: Wayfair
Living Room
Ok so I definitely get the most questions on Instagram about this room- specifically the shiplap accent wall and entertainment center. The floating shelves and shiplap were already here when we moved into the house! The other common questions I get are couch? where's it from- it's from Ashley furniture and it's called the Wilcot and our ottoman is from WayfairI love neutrals- if you haven't noticed yet, but I really really wanted to incorporate some steel blues into the mix and I really like how everything turned out. I got a lot of our pillows and that accent chair from At Home (if you have this store near you- it's THE best!) The rest of the accessories I found at Homegoods, Marshalls, Target etc...
Mud Room/ Cubbies
I love this little cubby right when you walk in from the garage- we had something like this in our old house too! I Love being able to hang up my purse, diaper bag, keys, Roscoe's leash, put away shoes, you name it, I love having a spot like this where we can dump everything and it's somewhat hidden.
Porch
I really really like how this porch setting turned out! I found these pillows and rug from Target during the summer time and love how it looks. Now that the weather is cooling down and we added a screen to the patio, we'll sit out here to eat dinner and turn on a show on the outdoor TV and hang outside! It's a nice change of scene! Now the weather just needs to stay cool and stop going back up to 90 degrees! Oh Florida...Ok as promised... I found some pictures for a before and after!
