Our Stay At: Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa
Hey Friends and Happy Friday! Today I wanted to recap our stay at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa a couple weeks ago! Located at Jensen Beach on Hutchinson Island lays the Hutchinson Shores Resort! The property is it's own little oasis with beach view rooms, the prettiest restaurant and bar and the best pools! There's a 12,000 sq ft ball room if you're interested in getting married at Hutchinson too! My cousin actually had a huge engagement party at the resort last year! I've loved getting messages saying you all are booking this place and visiting after seeing our trip- so fun! Hutchinson Shores is a great family vacation destination or a perfect girls trip getaway- so relaxing, especially if you book a reservation at the spa! Right over the bridge into Stuart is a cute little town with tons of waterfront dining experiences! We went to Sailor's Return one night for dinner and it was AMAZING. Highly recommend. Keep scrolling to see more of the resort below and feel free to leave any additional comments at the end of this post if you have questions you'd like me to answer!
The Property
The quieter pool- mostly adults, sits beach front, directly in front of Drift- the hotel restaurant and adjacent to one of the poolside bars!
I loved this jogger's station at the front of the resort! Quick note that was much appreciated- The resort had fridges of water bottles by every elevator on every floor. They'd put out fruit in the morning if you wanted a quick breakfast on the go and warm home baked cookies at night!
I can't get over these views and the color of the water!!
This was the more "family friendly" pools with shaded cabana beds!
The hot tub was huge! There's some couches that sit right next to the hot tub as well- so fun drinking cocktails out there at night!
Accommodations
I loved how bright and coastal the rooms were! Our room had the prettiest view of the ocean and gorgeous sunset views at night. I had a queen room, but double beds are available as well as suites. Justin and Jack came towards the end of my stay and we stayed as a family through the end of the weekend. The hotel staff was awesome making sure Jack had a pack and play set up during our stay as well! It's a very family friendly resort so the staff is very accommodating to your kiddos!
Dining
We ate at Drift Kitchen and Bar for almost every meal and I was not mad about it one bit. Since the resort is on an island- there's not many places walking distance to eat or drink, so luckily Drift is a one stop shop when it comes to your dining experience. It's a pretty large restaurant so we would eat outside, main dining area, at the bar, in the private room etc... each time so it felt like a different experience each time! On our first night there, we were able to make our own pizzas and ate them family style (we all shared our creations) The hotel manager said they offer family pizza making nights so you don't have to get all dressed up for dinner- when you're done at the beach, hop on up to Drift and make your own pizza!
Some other fun things we enjoyed during our stay- we did a sunrise yoga class on the beach which I'm pretty sure is available to any guests of the Resort if there is a class scheduled, a group of us went to the Florida Oceanographic Society and aquarium one day- so fun, especially if you have children! There was a touch and feel educational presentation of stingray and we saw so many turtles and sharks! Super cool! The other group went paddle boarding in the Intracoastal- I heard it was beautiful, but a workout! I also had to squeeze in a 50 minute massage while I was there- I wanted to check out the spa and I also can't say no to massages when they're offered right there on property in the spa! All in all, Hutchinson Shores Resort is a great place if you're looking for a chill and relaxing getaway whether it's with your family, girlfriends or significant other! I highly recommend!
