Hello Lovelies! Valentine's Day is right around the corner! Every year Justin and I try and think of something fun and different to do. We've been married for a year and a half now (whaaaa?!) Crazy, I know. Anyhow, we've done lots of different things for Valentine's Day throughout the years, but we've never been on a trip on VDay! This year we are going to Charleston! Actually we're going to Charlotte, NC first to see my brother's season opener of lacrosse and then on Sunday we are driving to Charleston to stay the night and explore! Unfortunately, I just looked at the weather and I am not going to be able to wear a dress like THIS and THESE sparkly shoes this weekend, but I am determined to look cute even if the high is 35 (ughhh)

Valentine's Day can sometimes be a teeeny bit overrated hehe So we always love to keep things super light hearted! Below I've listed a few fun ideas you and your SO (or BFF) could do this weekend!

Daytime Date: Do something active or outdoors! (go on a long bikeride, go on a hike, go to the zoo, an outdoor shopping mall, or make a picnic and bring it to the park or the beach)

Romantic Night Time Date: Have dinner somewhere outside at sunset on the water. If you're close to a winery, why not have a wine tasting and a really yummy dinner! If there's a certain type of food or type of restaurant you've never tried, be adventurous and try it out!

Simple (but fun) Night In: Stay at home and make pizzas (or pancakes for dinner!) watch a romantic comedy and maybe top the night off with homemade chocolate fondue for two!

Girls Night on the Town: Dress to the nines with your girlfriends and go dance the night away! Those are the memories that will last a life time- letting your hair down with your BFF's

Explore: go on a trip. We are the biggest culprits of convincing ourselves we have so much to do and so much we need to get done that we hinder ourselves from being spontaneous and going to different places on a whim. Yes, we have a lot to catch up on, but taking a trip together for this year's VDay will be worth the memories and adventure together!

What are your Valentine's Day plans this year?! Let me know in the comments below!

XOXO| Aubrey
