Happy (almost) Friday, Friends! We are having some friends come into town tomorrow and going to The Players Championship so...technically it's a Friday for me #treatyoself! My brother is in town for the summer and got himself a little gig to work with the TV crew all week for the tournament, how cool is that! Anyhow, as the weather has been so nice we've been going out to dinner to some cool places at the beach a little more than usual, but I made sure to snag a couple pictures of my outfit I wore last week to a friend's birthday dinner! PS trying to take pictures on the side of the road at rush hour is a joke... and the spot I picked right outside the restaurant seemed to be the most congested- oh and there were 2 policemen directing traffic right beside me, I'm surprised you can't see them in these pictures #embarrassing but hey just a normal occurrence in the day of a blogger....
So, I always hate doing this to you all, but my shirt I'm wearing is from last season and I obviously cannot find it anywhere online. However, if you are anything like me, when I find someone to take outfit inspiration from, I look at the colors they are pairing, style of the clothing, details on the shoes or shirt etc... and then I like to go back into my closet and create something of my own, so.. I have found a few similar options for you regarding this shirt! I LOVE white on white, I think white is my favorite color actually. It's so crisp and clean and can be classy, trendy, sexy or sweet- it is just so versatile. The key to wearing separates in white is texture. This shirt I'm wearing has an eyelet detail and I'm wearing distressed jeans. Giving your outfit a little depth with textures and detail will give it so much more "umph" I found THIS top from TopShop that I am actually obsessed with, I think I like it more than the one I'm wearing to be honest. Look at the fringe and eyelet detail! I've also been loving rosegold lately and THESE sunglasses are the most gorgeous color and look like the Dior ones!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Is anyone else in town going to The Players?
